RLI at Myrtle Beach

September 30, 2017

It was a beautiful, hot day in Myrtle Beach, SC.  Thirty three Rotarians from Districts 7770, 7730 and 7610 enjoyed a wonderful day of training  and fellowship- except for one thing — a power surge during the night meant that Horry-Georgetown Grand Strand Campus  had no power and most importantly, no air conditioning!

All of our Rotarians and facilitators deserve special commendations for enduring the heat.

We opened the day with greetings from Gary Bradham, District Governor 7770  followed by Rod Funderburk, past District Governor 7770 and our RLI Regional Coordinator.

We had great attendance:  Part I had 14 Rotarians, Part II had 10  Rotarians and Part III had 9  Rotarians who received their RLI pins:

Morris Beers, District 7730, Southport, NC

Theresa Calabrese, District 7770, Carolina Forest Sunrise, SC

Michael Hesbach, District 7770, Florence, SC

Donald Hovis, District 7770, Myrtle Beach Chicora, SC
