James
S. Stump, Jr., (Jim) is an Executive Search Consultant and
serves as President of James Stump & Associates, the
firm he started in 1984.
A
native of Roanoke, Virginia, Jim earned a Bachelor’s
Degree in Economics from Roanoke College and later
completed the Executive MBA Program of Winthrop
University.
Jim’s early career included the Human Resources
leadership for key business units of Ingersoll-Rand
Company and the Package Products organization.
Jim
has been a member of the Charlotte Dilworth South End
Rotary Club since 1985 and served as Governor for District
7680 in 1996-1997.
He
has served as District Foundation Chair and currently
serves as the Trainer for his District.
He has received the Rotary Foundation’s
“Citation for Meritorious Service”.
Jim and his wife, Patsy, are Major Donors to the
Rotary Foundation and Foundation Benefactors.
For many years, Jim has also been a Discussion
Leader at Carolina PETS.
Jim
and Patsy have one son and two grandchildren.
He is an avid rail fan and an “O” gauge model
railroader.
