Karen
Shore is the Executive Director of the Mooresville- South Iredell Chamber of
Commerce. Prior to entering the chamber
industry, she owned and operated a marketing company in
Greensboro. Throughout her career she has been recognized
as a small business advocate, spending several years
working on state and federal legislative issues with the
National Federation of Independent Business and serving as
a congressional delegate to the White House Conference on
Small Business.
A
graduate of Appalachian State University, Karen holds a
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She is
also a graduate of the Institute of Organizational
Management, a four-year curriculum designed by the U.S.
Chamber of Commerce for Chamber executives.
Karen
is serving as Governor Nominee/Trainer for District 7680.
She is past-president of the Cabarrus County Rotary
Club and a member of the Paul Harris Society & Bequest
Society. She serves as President for the CART (Coins
for Alzheimer's Research Trust) Fund Inc board
of directors.
Karen's
pride & joy is centered in her teen-age son,
Christopher. They are members of First Presbyterian
Church of Concord and enjoy sports, family & friends,
and traveling.
