Michael W. (Mike) Shaw is a Sales & Marketing Consultant. Born in Athens, Alabama, he obtained a BS degree from Florence State University (UNA) and an MBA from Wake Forest University. During and after serving as a commissioned officer in the Alabama Army National Guard, Mike worked for thirty-two years in Sales, Brand and Sports Marketing for the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company.

As a member of the Kernersville, NC Rotary Club, Mike has served on the club’s board, chaired several committees and is currently the President Elect of his club. He is a Foundation Benefactor and a Paul Harris Fellow.

In other civic activities, Mike has served as president of the board of directors of Cancer Services, Inc. and continues to work on the boards of several non-profit agencies assisting in their Strategic Planning and Marketing programs. Additionally, Mike serves as Vice Chair of his church’s capital campaign program.

Mike is a licensed pilot and in addition to flying, some of his many hobbies include motorcycling, golf and classic automobile restoration. Mike and his wife, Pat, have two grown sons and live in Kernersville, NC.
