Raymond Raedy graduated from the University of Notre Dame, and has a Juris Doctor degree from American University. He is retired from Frederick County Bank, which he founded, but still serves as Vice Chairman of the Board and Secretary.

He moved to North Carolina at the end of 2007 and is a member of the RC of Chapel Hill – Carboro Sunrise.

He had been a member of the RC of Frederick, Maryland for 23 years, holding numerous positions in his club and district, including District Conference Chairman and GSE Team Leader. He was Chairman of a Rotary Foundation Peace Conference – Rotary in Russia: Cold War Healing in 2002; and Governor of District 7620 in 2005 – 2006. He and Miriam, their children, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren are PHFs.

He was certified a RLI instructor in 2004.
