Sue Harper Poss
is a native of
Lancaster
,
SC.
She earned a BA degree in journalism and a masters degree in
mass communication from the
University
of
South Carolina
and an MBA from
Clemson
University
. She is owner of Image Plus Communications, a publishing
concern in
Greenville
,
SC.
A
Rotarian since 1990, she received Rotary’s highest honor,
the Service Above Self Award, in 1997. She is also a
recipient of the District Rotary Foundation Service Award.
She is a member of the Rotary Club of Greenville East,
served District 7750 as Governor in 1999-2000, and is a
Major Donor to the Rotary Foundation. She is also a Paul
Harris Fellow, Rotary Foundation Sustaining Fellow, and
Benefactor.
Currently
Sue is National Advisor to the Permanent Fund for Zone 33
and editor of the Zone 33-34 Director’s newsletter. She is
a regular instructor for Carolinas PETS, and has also led
training in
Georgia
and
West Virginia
. She is the
South Carolina
representative to the Zone 33 Rotary Leadership Institute
Executive Committee.
Previously
she has been Public Relations Chair and proceedings chair
for Zones 33-34 Institutes and Area Coordinator of the RI
Public Image Task Force, and served District 7750 as
Membership Chair, on the Rotary Foundation Committee, and
was 2004 Council on Legislation delegate.
