Don
Mott is an adjunct instructor at Pitt Community
Collage in the Department of Business and Industry. After
retiring first from the U.S. Air Force as a Maintenance
Officer and Navigator, and then from Martin Marietta
Energy Systems as a training manager, he attempted
to be just plain retired, but alas, he found he can’t
hit a golf ball so went back to the classroom.
His introduction to Rotary began in
1987 when his wife Vivian was invited join a Knoxville,
Tennessee club as one the first woman members in the state
of Tennessee. Both she and Don were welcomed into the
Greenville Noon Club in 1997. Don has served as Membership
and Classifications chair for several years. |
