Carol King is a member of the Rotary Club of Asheville, and served as President in 2001-02, being awarded RI’s Distinguished Club President Citation.  She has served as Assistant Governor, District Membership Chair, and Program Chair for the District Conference.  Carol now serves at the District Trainer and is a Paul Harris Society member.  She is the District Governor Nominee for 09-10.

Carol is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Asheville with a BS in Accounting.  She operates a CPA firm in Asheville with a practice focus in taxation and small business consulting.  Financial advising is another service proved to her clients; she is a registered representative for LaSalle Street Securities, LLC. 

In addition to Rotary, her public service is woven throughout many civic commitments in Asheville.  As well, she is a founder of the Bank of Asheville and currently serves on their board.

Three children and six grandchildren are the dearest people in Carol’s personal life.  However, her newest best friend is Brandy, her 15 year mare appaloosa horse.
