Wm. E. (Bill) Boyd is a Real Estate Broker, serving as President and Broker in Charge of Bill Boyd Realty, Inc. a company he started in 1997.  Born in Memphis, MI, and growing up in Winter Haven, FL, he obtained a degree in Accounting from the University of Florida in 1973.  Bill attended the US Navy Nuclear Power School for two years and spent 4 years aboard the USS Saratoga CVA 60.  He spent most of his career as a financial officer in the areas of agriculture and electric utilities.

A member of the Rotary Club of Pawleys Island, SC, he has been in Rotary for 25 years and currently serves District 7770 as Area 9 Foundation Advocate and serves on the Zone33RLI Board.

Since 1989, Bill has served as president of two Rotary clubs and has been active at the district level in Districts 6910, 7750 and 7770 serving as 7750 “Centennial Governor” in 04-05.  Bill has attended International conventions in San Antonio, Barcelona, Osaka, and Chicago and in 2001-02 he led a GSE team to Hong.  Bill is a Foundation Major Donor, Bequest Society member and is a charter member of the District 7750 Paul Harris Society.

In other civic activities, Bill has served as president of two local Chambers of Commerce as well as numerous boards and committees.  He has also served as Deacon and treasurer of his church.  On July 4, 2005 Bill was married to Carolyn Lance Arial of Easley, SC.  They now reside in Pawleys Island, SC.
