Nancy Barbee is owner of MindMaker Solutions, a web design company whose expertise is web standard compliance for people with disabilities, a Media Specialist at Maysville (NC) Elementary School, and a Sales Consultant for Follett International serving the country of India. A native of Pollocksville, NC, she holds a B.S degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s in Library Science from East Carolina University. She was a classroom teacher for seventeen years in the Jones County school system.

A Rotarian since 2000, she has served in many club positions, including twice as president. As Club International Service Chair she was instrumental in establishing the Literacy in India project. Nancy currently serves District 7730 as Assistant Governor, Rotary Foundation Annual Programs Fund Chair, and as District 7730 Internet Communication Officer (DICO). She is a Rotary Foundation Sustaining Member, Multiple Paul Harris Fellow, and District 7730 Paul Harris Society Charter Member.

In her community, Nancy serves on the Board of Directors for the Jones County Economic Development Commission and the new economic commission focusing on rural internet authority. She has served on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters and as Chair of The Jones County Advisory Council. She serves on the Jones County Technology Committee. Nancy has three sons. Gabe teaches English as a second language in China. Josh is a computer consultant with U.S Resources and partner in MindMaker Solutions. Bryce is a rising senior in high school.
