21, 2009 (Columbia, SC) The first Zone 33 Rotary
Leadership Institute event of the 2009-2010 year was held
August 21 at South University in Columbia, SC.
Illustrating the zone-wide nature of RLI, 30 Rotarians
from three districts – 7770 (our host district) and 7750
in South Carolina, and 7680 in North Carolina –
participated along with nine faculty from five districts.
Four new graduates were added to the rolls – Ann
Golden, Doug Lowery, Herb Mattocks, and Bob McClure, all
from District 7750.
Thanks to Stan Cahn, District 7770 RLI Chair, who
served as Facilities Chair and organized the event, Bert
Strange, SC State RLI Chair, and to the all the students
and facilitators who made it such a successful day.
