Poss
Elected RLI Board Vice-Chair, recognized as
International Assembly Trainer
August 4, 2009 (Lynchburg, VA).
Long-time Zone 33 Rotary Leadership Institute Board Member
Sue
Poss from Greenville, South Carolina was elected
Vice-Chair of the Board during the regular meeting of the
Board on August 2, 2009 in Lynchburg, Virginia. The Board
met following the Zone 33 RLI Summer Meeting & Faculty
Training that occurred at the same venue.
The Board Vice-Chair serves in the absence of the Chair,
and also has other duties defined in the RLI Bylaws. This
year the Vice-Chair will also schedule and organize
monthly on-line RLI Board Meetings.
Poss was also recognized at both the Summer Meeting and
the Board Meeting as being recently appointed as Rotary
International Training Leader for District-Governor Elects
to serve in San Diego CA in January 2010. The role of RI
Training Leader is considered the most important training
position in Rotary. This marks the second consecutive year
that a Zone 33 RLI Faculty member has been appointed RI
Training Leader, as Abe Clymer served in that position in
January 2009.
