Mooresville NC RLI Keeps On Rolling!  

February 21, 2009 (Mooresville, NC). District 7680 hosted well attended Institute on February 21, 2009 in Mooresville NC. The Mooresville Campus of Mitchell Community College provided an excellent setting for the participants with all different levels of Rotary experience, from beginner to "seasoned" Rotarian, as they developed their leadership skills and learned more about their role as "Rotarian". District 7680 RLI Chair and District Governor Elect Karen Shore served as Facilities Coordinator and State RLI Coordinator Bill Wilson from Statesville served as Program Coordinator.

41 Rotarians participated in the Institute and eight of those, received their graduate pins from the RLI faculty. The graduating class picture shows from left to right, as follows: Front row; J. Clyde McFadden, Debbie Jackson, Debra Corbett, and back row; Steve Tracy, Marion Sandlin, Firoz Peera, Rena Turner, Alvin Lewis.

In addition to the RLI Staff noted above, the faculty included RLI veteran faculty members PDG Bob Newton, PDG Bruce Baker, PDG Milt Iossi, Mitzi Ellis, Raymond Raedy, Raffaele Beltram, William Jones, and Allen Langley.

       As the sign indicates, our RLI Graduates are "On the Way Up!"
