June 18, 2008 (Los Angelos, CA). The
RLI World gathers once a year at the International
Convention, this year bringing together representatives
from many of the 153 member districts of RLI. At this
years RLI Breakfast, our own Director-Elect, Eric Adamson,
was honored with one of the first 4 "Pioneer
Awards" presented by the international body of RLI.
RLI Founder, Past RI Director Dave Linett announced RLI's
creation of the new award called the "Pioneer Award" to honor those who have initiated new divisions and chaired them for at least three years. Recipients this year were RIDE ERIC ADAMSON of Virginia, USA; PDG JAMES HENRY of Florida, USA, and PAG MICHEL JAZZAR of Beirut,
Lebanon, and Past R.I. Director Robert A. Coultas of Madison, New Jersey.
Eric was recognized as founding Zone 33 RLI and
serving as Chair as it was built into a 14 district
organization. As RI Director this year, he will remain on
the Zone 33 RLI Board as a Board Member.
