RLI Leaders Receive Major Rotary Foundation Awards

15, 2008 (Hot Springs, VA) Rotarians J.
Ronald "Ron" Ferrill and Dr.
Dave Moreman were honored with by The Trustees of The
Rotary Foundation with major awards at the District 7570
Conference. The awards were presented on March 15, 2008 at
the Conference, which was set at The Homestead, Hot
Springs, Virginia.
Rotarian
Ferrill is Vice-Chair of The Zone 33 Rotary Leadership
Institute, and serves on the Board of Directors of the
organization. Rotarian
Moreman is the Rotary District 7570 RLI
Chair.
Rotarian
Ferrill was awarded The Rotary Foundation
Distinguished Service Award (DSA), the Foundation's
highest service recognition that requires substantial
broad service beyond the district level and over an
extended period of time. He
currently serves his district as Rotary Foundation Grants Subcommittee Chair and as a member of the
Foundation Steering Committee. He currently serves the
Zone as a Foundation Giving Advisor specializing in
Grants. He was nomination by Bevin Wall,
RLI Chair, of District 7730, and the nomination was endorsed by District 7570
Governor Byron Brill.

Rotarian
Moreman was awarded The Rotary Foundation Citation for
Meritorious Serice, an award from the Trustees
recognizing Rotarians who have rendered significant
demonstrated active service to The Rotary Foundation over
a period of more than one year. District Governor Byron
Brill nominated Rotarian Moreman for the award. He
currently serves his district as Rotary Foundation Annual
Giving Subcommittee Chair and as a member of the
Foundation Steering Committee.
