A special RLI Graduate recognized
during the luncheon ceremony was Past Rotary International
Director Ken Morgan (RC of Chapel Hill NC). PRID Ken holds
several distinctions within the Zone 33 RLI family. He was
instrumental in the initial formation and selection of
leadership for Zone 33 RLI during 2002-03 when he brought
together the initial Executive Committee of the
organization under the leadership of Past Chair RIDE Eric
Adamson. He is the first Past Director of Rotary
International to participate in the Zone 33 RLI program.
And, finally, he brings a wealth of experience from the
highest levels of Rotary International Training to Zone 33
RLI, including being the 2007-08 Vice-Chair of the RI
International Assembly (training for incoming District
Governors), Assistant Moderator for RI Training Leaders,
the founder of Carolinas’ PETS (Multi-District Rotary
Club President-Elect Training for North & South
Carolina) and member of the Steering Committee for the
Multi-District PETS Alliance. We are especially glad to
have Ken join us in Zone 33 RLI.
