Concord RLI's Central Location Well Received

February 24, 2007 (Concord NC).  Concord's Business & Technology Center was alive with enthusiastic Rotarians on Saturday, February 24th.  Three RLI classes were conducted with 15 members in part 1, five members in part 2 and 13 members in part 3.  Folks traveled from Charleston, SC, Bluefield, WV and all in between, as Concord's facility serves as a good central location for many.

Simultaneously, during the morning sessions, Governor-Elect Graham Wilson of  D-7680 conducted a District Leadership Team meeting on-site so that his incoming Assistant Governors could witness an RLI experience.  Hopefully, this will enable those leaders to promote RLI with confidence to the clubs that they work with next Rotary year.

Congratulations to the following Rotary Leadership Institute graduates: Spencer Anderson of the Rock Hill, SC club; Kevin Bottomley of the Reidsville, NC club; Greg Cherry of the Gastonia, NC club; Stephen Driscoll of the Gastonia, NC club; Rebecca Faulkner of the Greenville Breakfast, SC club; Donald Haynes of the Statesville-Fourth Creek, NC club; Jacob Maciag of the Fair Play, SC club; William McLean of the Gastonia, NC club; Alan Moseley of the Matthews, NC club; Stephen Pederson of the Fayetteville, NC club; Charlotte Sacre of the Bluefield, WV club; Ronald Schneider of the Foothills, SC club; and Paul Wickensimer of the Greenville, SC club.
